APPLICATION OF EXPERT SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFICATION OF DAMAGE TO COMPUTERS WITH WEB-BASED FORWARD CHAINING METHOD

Abstract

Damage and various kinds of computer problems today are very common.
This happens because the computer is used too often and lacks maintenance and
service. Many of the users are unable to repair damaged computers due to lack of
knowledge. A computer expert or technician is a person who can identify and repair
computer malfunctions. However, expert availability is not always available.
An expert system is a system that can imitate the decision-making ability of an
expert. Expert systems make maximum use of knowledge like an expert to solve
problems. Therefore, an expert system is needed to help people find out the problem
with damage to the computer and the solution. Here the author makes an expert
system for identifying computer damage using a Forward Chaining that is very
accessible.
The application of the computer damage identification expert system
implemented by the Forward Chaining runs well and can identify computer damage
and provide solutions. With this system, the author hopes to help computer or laptop
users to diagnose computer damage.
